Weekend Trip From Boston

Does anyone have recommendations for a weekend trip to take within 4 hours drive of Boston in April?

I am planning a trip with my mom for her birthday, but the location doesn’t really matter as she doesn’t like museums or sightseeing. I wouldn’t expect us to leave the hotel for much other than food/drink or a relaxing stroll/hike. So essentially, do you know any fun hotels or inns with nearby good food and drink in New England?
