Words of encouragement please

Ok. It’s been a long, slow, and patient road. My fiancé has agreed to a very small first step. And if it goes no further than that; I’ll be perfectly content. With that being said; I’m nervous. Maybe even more so than her. Like, maybe I’m getting in over my head. Maybe I’ll regret it? I know everyone is different and there’s no true way of knowing until it happens. I’m wondering if anyone has any words of encouragement? I’m sorry I post a lot on here and I appreciate all the constructive criticism and feedback from this community. Any last words of advice/encouragement would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
