Questions about the Rite of Election.

I'm getting received into the Church soon as an unbaptised adult. I have no other Catholics to contact.

1. Are there any Rite outlines I can find online to see what will be happening and what I'll need to say and do? When I write in the book, will I need a confirmation name to write in preparation for when I'm confirmed?

2. How long will it take? Will I be sat in the pews for most of it like a Mass?

3. What should I wear? I am 19, and female. Are there any colours to avoid? How formal should I be? If anyone from a similar demographic could share what they wore, I'd appreciate it.

4. I know it's traditional to kiss a Bishop's ring when you meet one, but I am unsure if people actually do that.
