How do I study for sience(biology)

So I have to study a LOT in biology( human body in detail, cell structures in detail including DNA replication, mitosis meiosis, molecule and epigenetics, human evolution,...) overall just a lot and my issue is its first of all a lot of complex processes but also they are phrased so difficult to understand. Also, there is just so much information to it in depth and its not like im studying for a test in school or uni but for the entrance exam to uni. So how should I proceed to study? Active recalling? Kinda hard when there are so many complex processes and words thrown around. Summarizing? Takes WAY too much time for instance 2 pages take about 2 hours to summarize and study. Even worse with things like in depth DNA replication, Mitosis Meiosis involved. Answering a lot of questions after reading each topic? Difficult since my books dont provide me with those questions and other formats are either too shallow or are divided in their opinions in certain aspects.

So please, help me figure out this mad rabbit hole!
