SyncFlow — Access your Android SMS/MMS from Mac and Web without going through Google https://sfweb.app
I've been working on SyncFlow as a privacy-focused way to access Android
SMS/MMS, photos, File transfer from a computer without going through Google's servers.
The problem with Google Messages for Web:
- Your messages route through Google
- Requires constant phone connection
- No real encryption for SMS
- Google controls the experience
SyncFlow's approach:
- No big tech middleman: Messages are stored on dedicated independent
infrastructure — not Google, Apple, or any third-party cloud
- E2EE: Messages are encrypted with Signal Protocol
- MMS attachments stored on Cloudflare R2 with presigned URLs
- Firebase Auth is used for identity only — all message data is stored
separately and encrypted
- Works offline — your phone doesn't need to be online to read history
from Mac or web
Native apps for Android and Mac, plus a web client. No accounts with Google
or Apple needed beyond initial authentication.
What you need:
- Android phone + Mac or web browser
- ~2 min setup (install Android APK, download Mac app, sign in)
Free tier: 200 messages/month. Paid removes the limit.

I'm a solo Vibe coder building this because I wanted it for myself. Happy to
answer questions about the architecture or privacy model.
