Sperm Donor Child - Citizenship

Hi,

I am 26, and was born in the USA to an American mother. My anonymous sperm donor father (California Cryobank) is a naturally born Canadian citizen. I plan on contacting the agency to see if they have any other information they can provide me (generally speaking).

I came across the below note on another post here:

"As a result, Canadian sperm donors, who are not recognized as parents for family law purposes, may convey their citizenship to their genetic offspring."

Practically speaking, is there any pathway in the absence of establishing contact with the actual father and him agreeing to genetic testing?
