[11 YoE] Lead Engineer applying to Lead/Staff/Senior roles UK — near-zero callbacks. Looking for objective feedback.
I am a Lead Software Engineer based in the UK with over 11 years of experience in full-stack development, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and team leadership. I have extensive experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js, Java (Spring Boot), Docker, Kubernetes, and GCP. I have led the development of shared UI libraries, optimized CI/CD pipelines, and designed scalable solutions for complex systems.
I am targeting senior or staff engineering roles, ideally within the UK or remote. I am open to relocation but prefer positions where I can continue building complex software systems while mentoring and leading technical teams.
I have been actively applying to roles but am struggling to get interview requests. I would greatly appreciate feedback on clarity, impact of bullet points, and alignment with senior-level technical positions. Any suggestions on emphasizing leadership, technical contributions, or readability would be extremely helpful. This is really killing me at the moment :(
