Actor didnt show up for chemistry read

So i had a director's meeting/chemistry read for an exciting hollywood film for a strong supporting role. I was supposed to do the chemistry read with another actor, however he didnt show up. My audition still went well and i even got a round of applause from the producers, casting and director. Im just wondering if the fact that i didnt end up doing a chemistry read with who they had in mind would still affect their decision making in the end
