Pals parents are getting forgetful trying game therapy. Which games do you recommend?

My friend's parents are showing some signs of forgetfulness but not yet diagnosed as Alzheimers or Dementia, they are still on a waiting list for that. He tried some things on the net and is curious to see if video games can help the part as his job is complex for his parents to comprehend and make meaningful discussions. He tries TV or movies but the parents don't watch or don't like the movies they are being introduced to. He thinks video games would preoccupy them fairly whilst he's out working. What video games can you recommend? No horror, overstimulating games, violent and religious games. He tried recommending Portal 1 and 2 but they weren't able to play as the puzzles were too much for them, minecraft and different farming simulators/cleaning simulators weren't interesting for them.
