Big part of my routine. Hope this helps.
Because I've seen a lot of women still don't know all these and posts about women struggling keep popping up on my feed I'll make this a post instead of commenting at each post because I can't see them all.
The following advice I've tried myself and is based on research, but I encourage everyone to do their own. I've had this thing for over 30 years and had time to compile a lot of data.
DIET, VITAMINS and MINERALS Cut the dairy. Me and all the girls in endo support groups agree it's worse than gluten. It raises up estrogen which leads to endo scar tissue expansion and messes up hormones general. Replace it with nut milk, We need the Magnesium. Almond mainly preferably made at home. Also coconut works but it makes your digestion faster and a lot of us already have that.
Get your calcium from natural calcium supplements like seashell extracts. Vit D3 is crucial and linked to endo. Reduces inflammation and anxiety and it's important for bone density, which we can lack bc a lot of us have malabsorbtion. Get a D3 K2 supplement. K2 supports the gut and not only. Make it a Ca D3 K2 if your calcium is low. Some bloodtests would help.
Red meat is bad for us, but check your iron, redd cell count, B12 and Zn to see if they are depleted. You can eat it sometimes, but not very often and preferably grass fed. Get the above from chicken or fish liver and you can cook nettle. It's usually considered a weed by people who don't know better. Also for iron you can buy an iron fish. Meatwise stick to Fish, Chicken and such. Also algae are amazing, proven to help. You should get a good nutritionist if possible. The diet is tangled and complicated.
Anti-inflamatories MEDS Vimovo and Lornoxicam helped me the most. Anti inflammatory PLANTS because I've had ulcers 3 times because of Long term use of anti inflam. meds:
- Frankincense and Myrrh, taken together, max 1200mg per day each. It will take 3 weeks to a month and a half to feel them working properly.
- Elderberry flowers this one is an amazing plant. It's also anti depressant and anti anxiety among other things. I used to make this Elderberry fermented juice in the summer that covered the gut too.
- Glucosamine, Turmeric, Black Pepper mix helps especially if you also have articulation pain (I'm hypermobile) you can change it to Ginger, Turmeric, Black Pepper
- CBD and palmitoylethanolamide (separately) first works for me the second only punctually, because I have bad side effects from it long term, but it might work for you and it was strong as an only dose too, in my case. CBD oil was great for me but you need to take breaks if it's an oil because your liver will not be happy. I mix it with nettle to cover the liver function and I prefer it in tea form, but still need breaks every few months. 1 2 4 Relieved endo belly too for me
ANTIOXIDANTS* because our bodies ar under stress and they also have an anyi inflammatory component:
- Resveratrol either as a supplement or from red or violet berries and red fruit (grapes, apples etc)
- supplements: Q10 - 100-200mg or more and, a good Omega 3. Better together.
For an external MASSAGE I use Copaiba oil. Helps with pain. I put some in my belly button too.
HORMONAL modulation:
- Liquorice as many types as possible mixed and made tea or taken as a supplement
- Marigold (Calendula officinalis)
- Wild thyme (Thymus serpyllum)
This one is longer but RN I'm too tired to add to it as I have LC (Long Covid) and it's worse than endo (still can't believe smt is worse than endo)
