How often do you spend 30+ minutes with a client for a small order?

Hi florists — quick question.

How often do you find yourself spending 30 minutes (or more) helping a client decide on a bouquet, only for the final order to be relatively small?

What kind of customers does this usually happen with?

Is it mostly in-store, phone, WhatsApp, Instagram DMs?

Do you feel that time is “lost”, or is it part of the relationship-building?

Have you tried anything to reduce back-and-forth (price lists, pre-designed options, online tools, etc.)?

I’m researching workflow inefficiencies in flower shops and would really value real-world insight.

Thanks 🙏
