Is it Worth Try and Get into 3D printing with 0 experience or knowledge of the field?
I am a 33-y-o man, stuck in a corporate, low-paid, no-promotion kinda soulless job that cannot be even described properly in career terms, but it is kind of a advertising/auditing job It has been almost 4 years in the same job and it is clear that it will not go anywhere. The only good thing about it is that It is from home and I get to have a lot of flexibility. I have two college degrees in areas that are not really helping me to secure a better job and honestly, every single day at someone else's authority like this drains my soul.
So I have been searching alternative ways to get out of this vicious cycle. I tried many things until now including learning some software but I am just not very inclined.
Lately, I got curious about 3D printing and design. I am in the phase of doing research now and learnt that TinkerCAD is a good start on the beginner end, and there is software like Blender on the upper end. I gave TinkerCAD a few short trials and as I don't really have a goal at the moment, I am afraid that I might be just taking up something new just to drop it again as I did with IT-tech related courses before. What I like with 3D printing is that it is quite open for anything and my niche would be board games (big fan of them here), mini models, house decoratives and things like this rather than big stuff. But as I said, I am kind of scared of starting something for nothing again. And time and money (even little) are highly valuable sources in this age so there is certainly something at stake.
Any ideas/input are appreciated in advance <3
