Just beat a goblin fort (the description being that it’s a defensible fort for goblins), checked the wiki and saw the higher chance for a famed item for this type of caml, and so I decided to not take the 2 skull contract I was offered to destroy this place, and just spend the next day buying potions and consumables in preparation to bust this camp.

Cue the most miserable 20 minutes of my life.

29 goblins, plethora of skirmisher, SOME ambushers (thank god), some wolfriders, a shaman and an overseer. Earlier there were 3 champions, but I decided fighting them would be far too risky (and I already got nice goblin fameds, so I didn’t wanna bother risking my neck and mental health for more)

We beat them with no losses thankfully, just a LOT of fire pots, flash pots, one night owl elixir and 1 dead dog, a lot of armour damage, and my blood pressure increasing more than my high cholesterol could possibly cause.

But I was stumped to see the rewards. No famed item? Fair enough, it’s RNG (but I’ve got famed items for far easier camps than this). But ELEVEN crowns??? What kinda sick joke is this?

And a bag of salt. Which is clearly not the goblins, it’s my salt from seeing this shitty reward screen.

We killed the overseer (even got the achievement for shooting him), killed the shaman, but 11 goblins got away bevause they broke early in the battle and fucked off faster than the overseer could rally them (they did see their comrades die by fire pot)

I’m just so damn salty at what we got for all that effort. Was I supposed to kill every single enemy in the camp for more rewards? I’m just stumped since I just beat a camp of like… 10 legionaries, a priest and 2 honor guards that was far easier, that dropped me a gold chalice, ancient gold coins AND an awesome famed shield.

I’ve also decided I’m never fighting goblins again. Not even actually hard, no brother was close to death (thankfully all the punctures missed) They’re just so painfully unfun to to fight.

Any idea as to why the reward for this camp was so bad?
