After visiting several POIs along this road between waypoints, I decided not to head directly to Beagle Point, but to take a detour left to the edge of the Abyss, where I'd once accidentally discovered an ELW [on my previous expedition](https://www.reddit.com/r/EliteDangerous/comments/1akzlej/from_beagle_point_on_the_imperial_courier_over/) (Fleckao GS-H d11-4). Turning off the highway in this game is always a good idea if you want to find something others haven't yet discovered. My discovery was "Iris Sunrise", one of the rarest worlds with an oxygen atmosphere and icy rings (I'd only found one like it before!).

Approaching Beagle, I shortened my jumps distance, trying to find undiscovered systems, but found nothing worthwhile on the way. After rejoining with expedition fleet on Friday and selling the data, I decided not to sit there for two days and instead try to repeat my success – finding another ELW in this distant and very well-explored corner of space. I spend two evenings looking for it. When I almost lost hope, after 529 jumps and 21215ly on the way, after discovering more than 15 of water worlds, I finally found my precious in a 1100ly from Beagle (Myeia Thaa PC-U d3-1).

My Distant Worlds 3 diary: I didn't want to leave the Beagle Point area without discovering another ELW, so I didn't.
