I have come up with an idea for getting PS Deluxe at discounted rate

Hi guys,

I posted here a few days ago as well regarding trying to get PS Plus discount during the Lunar Year offer by PlayStation, when my existing PS Plus Extra expires after the discount ends.

So I checked that I can switch to PS Plus Essential and then upgrade to Extra assuming it will give me an option to upgrade with 35% discount.

Can someone who is on PS Plus Essential check and confirm if they are getting the discount to switch to Deluxe with 35% discount for the remaining time period?
