Should I go for F2A? Timeline for Work Authorization (EAD) and Advance Parole in 2026?

I’m currently trying to decide whether I should proceed with the F2A category and wanted to hear from people who recently went through it.

My situation:

My spouse is a green card holder (LPR).

I’m currently in the U.S. on a TN visa and working.

We’re planning to file the I-130 under F2A.

My main concern is the timeline for getting work authorization (EAD) and advance parole (AP) after filing I-485.

My questions:

Is it worth filing under F2A right now, or is the category still too slow?

Once I file I-485, how long did it take you to receive:

EAD (I-765)?

Advance Parole (I-131)?

Are people still getting the combo card in ~3–6 months, or is it taking longer now?

Overall, how long did your full F2A process take from filing to green card approval?

Any issues filing AOS while on TN status?
