This morning I found one of the boys is missing. Oh no big deal I thought. I flipped through all 6 hides and no snek found. I started panicking and went through all security footage for the past 24 hours. And turns out my dad moved the stand while doing some cleaning so only half of the tank was filmed. At this point I started flipping through the dirt in the terrarium (highlight: only shallowly and the loose part since they never buried themselves for the past 2 years).

No snake. I started tearing my apartment apart since unfortunately the terrarium is right in the middle of the living room. And after 2 whole hours of panicking and I thought I might've lost him forever --- I tore apart the insulation foil wrapped around the side of the tank, and there he is! Buried soooo deep in the substrate that he is right above the drainage layer. I don't know how the heck did he get there since the soil was pretty firm. He has never done that one before. Sorry to all the cuc and Ruby (the other boy) who went through the process of me almost tearing apart the whole tank.

I did wanna ask, I'm not sure if he's stuck or not since I flipped through the top part of the substrates and watered the plants, which might've made the soil firm. Should I consider digging him out of he stays like this for a long time (like a few days?)

He scared the hell out of me
