i’m tired of windows can someone convince me to switch to linux

the recent windows updates have honestly been my last straw dealing with windows overall and i would very much love to switch but it feels a bit scary and overwhelming to switch, could anyone convince me to switch to linus and make it seem as appealing and non overwhelming as possible? im just scared that the switch might somehow be worse or weird to deal with
