Career advice from 5-year-olds

Bad day at the office last Friday: the boss changed his mind about something I'd been working on for 2 weeks, and asked me to work the weekend to re-do it in time for Tuesday.

We play a game at dinner-time where we all say three things we did today. I told this story (in child-appropriate terms), and my son thought for a bit, then said:

"Daddy, if someone did that to me when I grow up and I'm working, I'd say ugh and go and work for a different company where people are nice."

There you have it, gents. Just say ugh when your boss annoys you.
