Why does Eva put up with Maggie?

I would understand if she was a typical mother in law from hell, but she goes beyond that.

An awful mother in law is Ivy Tilsley, Maggie is on another level.

Eva basically ruined Aidans life for cheating on her, even then she loved Aidan still, she'd do worse to Maggie.
