Symptoms getting worse
My father is diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis and him and I have always had similar health struggles. Ever since I was little I’ve struggled with muscle tightness and pain in my back/shoulders/neck, as the years have gone on it has only gotten worse and expanded the list of symptoms. I am currently 23 and gluten intolerant (not allergic but I get rashes and hives and my lips swell and peel) like my father. my right SI joint and shoulder are constantly either tight or in pain or both. My elbows and knees will “lock” on occasion in a way that pops or cracks painfully when I commit to full range of motion. On occasion my wrists will ache randomly and I feel pain radiating from my shoulders to my fingertips. All of this gets worse with stress and the constant discomfort is making me irritable as hell, I am not diagnosed and it’s been hell to even try to find a doctor with an opening that isn’t months away for a basic consult. I guess I’m just looking for tips or suggestions, do yall think this sounds like ankylosing spondylitis? For additional context my general pain on a scale of 1-10 tends to be a 2, nothing awful but the discomfort is constant, today is a bit worse since I had a 3 hour lecture in very uncomfortable seating and spent yesterday driving all day so I would put my discomfort at a 3 or 4. It’s nothing too severe but I know my body and many of my symptoms have begun accumulating over time, I just feel like this can’t be all a coincidence.
