Question about adaptive cruise control (2022+)

I am looking at the latest gen of Frontiers, specifically the Pro-4X trim level. Most of them have adaptive cruise. Out of curiosity, does that cruise control work in stop and go traffic? Are there specific model years they introduced that feature? If it’s one of those pressing resume to start moving that’s still great if it can limit the on and off braking. I know Toyota didn’t add that to the Tacoma until the latest gen 2024+

Not a huge dealbreaker to me if not but it could persuade me to get a newer model year since I may be moving closer to the city.
