Appointment with high risk breast cancer specialist

Hello. This is my first time posting here. I’m a 32f and my mother had breast cancer when she was 43 years old, she got tested for cancer gene at the time and it came back negative (I have never been tested). The cancer then came back after she was in remission and metastasized to her spine when she was 54 and passed. I am considered high risk so I made an appointment with a breast specialist to see what my options are. I don’t have any symptoms but I wanted to know if anybody can share their experience with a breast specialist and what I should expect. I am extremely nervous because I do not want to go through what my mom went through. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
