Advice on my standard deck

Hi everyone,

I recently got into magic via commander a few months and some friends of mine had the idea to have each person (9 of us) open a play booster box of lorwyn and build standard decks out of what we got to play against each other, in addition we each have a $20 budget to add in cards we think will round them out.

After opening my box I was really drawn to all of the black/green elves in the set.

I've never played standard before so my deck is all theory at this point but I'd love to hear any advice based on what I have so far.

My thought process is aggro, play elves, let them die to get into my graveyard and then play exdeath as my potential finisher. I have about $18 after exdeath and the llanowar elves so if there are any cuts and add ins you reccomend I would greatly appreciate it.
