Anyone else having their BPD spike in their mid 20's?

💢Off My Chest/Journal Post

So currently im 25. I feel like I wad pretty normal until 2023 where I got into a really abusive relationship that left me with PTSD. But otherwise I thought I was doing ok after that. I met this girl and she honestly was the best thing that ever happened to me. But then things starting getting worse and worse. My suicidality was every day. I started to self harm. I would have split on my roommates and my gf and it was just terrible because I wasnt diagnosed and had no idea what what happening.

Then she broke up with me and brought up that she thought I had BPD. I asked a friend with it and she agreed. I went to a psych and they straight up told me they weren't gonna diagnose me with anything so I went to a new psych and she told me it was pretty clear I had BPD. Ever since the diagnosis I've had my ups and downs. But just recently its been getting so much worse. My splits are crazy. I get money and I spend it all immediately. I even went through psychosis the other day thinking the FBI was outside trying to get me. Its been scary for me and my friends and family and I can see everyone distancing themselves from me.

But when I see people talking about this I see a lot of people mention they had symptoms when they were a teen or early 20's. I mean I was pretty normal i think? Though tbh before last year I never really had friends so maybe thats part of the reason. Idk what do you guys think
