absolutely wicked base of skull headache

Advice

what is up party people. tldr: i've had a crazy headache at the base of my skull for a few weeks, and it is driving me NUTS. worse at night, varies in severity, otc painkillers do nothing. also, im bedbound. help pls..

tlra (too long, reading anyways): im asking yall here and not just shrugging it off due to it being 1. so long 2. my neck

a few weeks ago my neck hurt kinda. it's since continued to hurt. it has not stopped. though it can be so minimal during the morning/day that the other thousand and one bodily pains can drown it out. but at night it is always very noticeable, if not so intense i can't sleep. when it's that bad, it radiates behind my eyes like a migraine. no positions help, tylenol and ibuprofen don't help, making my pillow smaller doesn't help, ditching the pillow all together doesn't help, im LOSING IT!!!!

the pain is sorta like a tension headache in one spot (like a golf ball size/poker chip size radius at the spot where your skull meets your neck), as opposed to stabbing or pricking or burning pain. i'm crediting it to laying in bed all day, but jeez louise i really thought it would've passed by now. this happened like a year ago and it passed on its own. and it's really just not passing right now. maybe it'll start passing tomorrow but hey if someone can tell me wtf is going on maybe i can help stop or at least minimize it next time.

do i need to undergo decapitation. should i just remove my neck all together. cerviectomy. any and all input very appreciated thx yall
