How does University Housing work for Co-op?

hey guys . I was offered a co op for fall 2026 from Aug-Oct. it’s in another state so for the first semester I won’t be on campus . But im in a rooming group with 3 other girls applying for a wolf ridge apartment for next year . but like idk how it’s gonna work bc im not gonna be there the first semester so will i still be able to just sign up for housing so I actually have a place to come back to after my co op or how does this work 😓 plz help.
