going to the GYN with PMS symptoms?

I have my first gyne appointment tomorrow and my period is due on Friday so I am PMSing rn.

Do symptoms usually get in the way of the exam? I’m 25 so I’m assuming she’ll want a baseline breast exam (?) but mine are super bloated and lumpy right now. My friend one time went before her period and her doctor had her come back a few weeks later to recheck her breasts (I would rather not want to go twice).

I am not sure if they need to do an abdominal exam either. My abdomen is pretty bloated.
