I (39 f) am frustrated at the distance between my fiancé (49 m) and I

Hello, my (39 f) fiancé (49 m) moved almost two hours away a year ago after our relationship hit a few rough patches… he blamed my moodiness and said I didn’t take advantage of how close he lived to me when he lived here. We’ve been together a total of almost two years now. So he moved back to his home town where he also has ties to past hookups. Since he’s moved back last year, we now only see each other usually once a week. I regularly express whenever it’s heavy on my heart that I miss him living close by, and does he miss it too. He will say yes, but then shuts it down and says I’m just trying to fight. We’ve been together about two years, and I thought I could adapt to him living far, but I’m having serious struggles. Before he moved, I felt we loved each other the same amount. Now I feel like I’m the chaser, and I love him more. I never knew when we started dating that we’d ever have a seemingly permanent long distance relationship. I understand that long distance relationships can work when both people are on the same page, but It doesn’t feel we are. He has a parallel life to me now, routinely goes to bars for lunch every day with his buddies, and I’m left living my life by myself usually 6 days of the week. I feel like it’s a soft ending even though he promises he loves me and we have a future together. I’m trying to hold on, and I’m trying to adjust, but it feels so wrong that he’s so okay living so far and barely seeing me. Our intimacy has also dropped, obviously, which also hurts. I’m feeling confused that he doesn’t seem to be bothered by this dynamic now. I’m asking for advice on what to do, because I feel I don’t know what to do anymore.

TL; DR : I (39 f) am confused and frustrated at why my (49 m) fiancé isn’t more bothered by the distance he’s put between us.
