Bought a car which had more miles than advertised

So I bought a 2020 BMW X3 M40i last Tuesday and it was advertised as having 32,766 miles. The paperwork also reflected that. Me being the lazy person I am, I did not check the total mileage on the car since I figured why would Carmax not have the correct mileage.

A few days after I bought the car, I realized that it has 5000 more miles. I bought the car for $38,998 and got a maxcare warranty. They are offering me $500 back on the car as an apology. Is this a good deal? I asked for more and they said this is the best they can do.
