Future volume theory

Naturally we’ve seen a lot of speculation on what’s going to happen next right? This theory in particular is going to focus on one angle I’ve seen multiple posts about: One of the “winning” couples running into trouble in paradise. Particularly there have been a few posts that suspect one of the couples is going to break up with a split between whether it’ll be Sousuke/Karen or Ayano/Chihaya.

However, going off of these ideas, I have a slightly different guess based on what we’ve seen throughout the volumes so far. I DO think there could potentially be some relationship trouble with the established couples but I don’t think it’ll get that far or, if it does, it won’t last very long. Why, you ask? Well because there just so happens to be a natural meddler nearby who is at least roughly acquainted with all of them who is also 2 for 2 on saving relationships of course.

To take my guess even further, I think the couple in question will 100% be Sousuke/Karen. They’re the only couple of the 3 that hasn’t experienced Nukumizu’s miraculous assistance directly after all. The prediction is as follows: They’re gonna run into some kind of huge issue and one of them is going to want the opinion of an uninvolved party who, from their perspective, is also pretty easy to talk to. One young lad will fit the bill and eventually (and begrudgingly) step up to the plate.

Now this last part is 100% coping and a reach but I believe a development like this could potentially lead to the mythical second Yanami arc as well.
