I just got composite fillings and need advice about eating

I had two fillings last Wednesday and they are both on the same spot. One is on the top row, the other bottom row. My bite has changed a little, I am biting into my new fillings straight away. I am still unable to eat on the left side of my mouth (where the fillings are) How much longer will this be uncomfortable/painful for?
