Fairly beginner-level knowledge here, please point out anything I might be missing. Otherwise, looking forward to hearing your thoughts.
Above are the financials I have looked at.
General reasoning for each business:
- PLTR developed an AI system to look at a situation and provide the best potential responses.
- CRWD AI system cybersecurity system (which is an all-in-one solution rather than many apps, which seems to be the case with their competitors). I have read that it has a faster detection period than some of its competitors. Generally speaking, the AI is continuously monitoring all devices within a business, the information is relayed to a central hub, and as such, the AI can identify any sudden changes to the state of said devices, i.e. potetial threats.
My 2 main concerns, 1 I'm not particularly experienced with financial analysis, so I'm sure there are plenty of flaws. 2, I am concerned regarding an AI bubble effect and would like to know if their P/S reflects this. Their growing revenue generally suggests otherwise. However, could that partially be a result of a bubble?
Generally, when we talk about the AI bubble, I get the general concept that this primarily affects very specific businesses without much real-world use. But, would still love it if those who know more could expand on it.
