IBS trigger - bbq sauce

Evening all,

Been suffering with bloating and discomfort for over a week now. Changed my diet at the beginning of the year with no issues until recently. Have been to the GP who have suggested it’s IBS and to find a possible trigger. Never really been ill in my life fortunately and only go to the GP if things seem rather bad.

I am waiting for a food intolerance test to turn up currently which should give me some more information and the GP are taking some bloods next week.

Starting to think a trigger could be BBQ sauce as odd as it sounds? Had been using normal Heinz but swapped over to Reds Kanas.

Wondered if anyone has had similar with different sauces?

New to all this so forgive my lack of knowledge on the matter.

Also any advice for relieving stomach pain besides buscopan.
