Unifi Express 7 crashed repeatedly.

Hi all,

I was running a large show this weekend as a tech. One of our artists had a work with about 120 esp32 that wasn’t running well with his Asus access point. I offered my Express 7 as an alternative and it was much more stable, however the AP crashed twice.

The front panel still had the normal screen but no SSID would show anymore, I couldn’t access the control panel. The device needed to be fully power cycled before it would respond again.

The device was running stand-alone with nothing directly attached, no WAN, only wifi clients. The logs show nothing, other than a hard power cycle warning.

Would you think it is defective? I’m still well within warranty, so I can send it back. Am I expecting too much of this lil guy with this many clients? What’s your take?
