Malware with usb stick reset?

Hi guys,

I have the fear since I downlaoded a save File for a game before 30-40 days ago and since then had the fear of a malware.

I didnt have any odd activity and run a MRT, windows defen full scans and offline scan and malwarebytes full scans and he of course found nothing.

after that i reinstalled my PC without the PC and still had the fear of having a Malware.

So now i Am at the point where i Got a fresh usb stick from another PC and reinstalled the PC from that stick but I have the fear that somehow a Virus can like jump into the USB stick when i plug it in and while i Install the new Windows, copy it to the installation.

Is this even possible?
