Autzen Footbridge is CLOSED! Here's the Detour.
The Autzen footbridge will be closed for a long time.
Once you cross the Frohenmeyer bridge over the river, immediately angle right onto the path covered with bark mulch...this will take you straight to where you need to go!
As you follow this path, you will cross Day Island Road, and then Pre's Trail. After Pre's trail, the path is just dirt but well-used.
The path goes through an open areas, and then crosses Pre's Trail again at the bridge you are looking for. Cross the bridge and you are at the BMX track. Walk through the parking lot to Leo Harris Parkway and on to your destination.As you follow this path, you will cross Day Island Road, and then Pre's Trail.
