Should I prepare for CAT?

I’m a 2025 GEM graduate currently working as a SWE Analyst at a decent global fintech company with a CTC of 9.8 LPA. I’m preparing seriously for CAT 2026, but my academic profile (8/7/8) keeps demotivating me. As a GEM, I already feel like the 7 in my 12th has shut the door on BLACKI. Is it realistic to hope for a tier 1 B-school or should I accept that I won’t receive good calls even with a 99.9x %ile.
