The Forgotten Transmute Card - Shred Memory
This week, we take a look at Muddle the Mixture's lesser-played counterpart, Shred Memory!
Shred Memory used to see a good amount of play in CEDH, but has fallen out of favor as other powerful tutors have been printed.
Seen play in a few top performing Esper CEDH lists in the past 6 months- we felt it was time to dust off this old card and deep dive into whether or not it holds up in the 2026 CEDH meta.
The Shred Memory truthers will boast you get the best of both worlds with this card- by being able to stop your opponents wins OR tutor for your own.
The Shred Memory nay-sayers will say there are much better tutors that can fill the roll for the steep 3 mana cost.
Do you think Shred's Memory's versatility can outweigh its cost and restrictions?
Have you played Shred Memory in a past (or current) CEDH list?
