Should I take my cat to the US with me?

I really want to take my cat from India to US with me, I will be moving in May. If I don't, he will be with my parents who also love him and take care of him. But I have a lot of concerns, please help me:

Points to consider:

- I am a vet myself so I manage all his medical needs here, my dad does feeding and helps with litter box but medical stuff is just me

- I feel anxious when I travel without him

- In India, I have netted all my windows and balconies for him. In the US, they don't allow that in apartment buildings, I think people just don't open doors and windows

- I don't know anyone in the US so if I travel, will have to find a sitter. In India we have a community: household help, my friend etc. to feed him

- A lot of meds aren't available over the counter in the US unlike India, so if he needs something take I know he needs, will need to go to vet and appointments aren't so easily available (I don't have a license to practice in the US yet)

- When I get a job in the US eventually, he might end up being alone at home during daytime whereas in India parents are always there, but I trust myself more to take care of him in terms of medical issues. He has asthma so needs inhaler daily. Can teach my dad.

Another option is to figure stuff out there and then take him in a year or so. Please help, this is the only issue I have before leaving India and it's making me very sad and anxious. I love him so much I just want what's best for him
