Daily sharing - Revelation 8: 8

Revelation 8: The second angel blew his trumpet, and something like a great mountain, burning with fire, was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood. 9 A third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.

Oh how we deserve to be destroyed! This whole world does. Yet God preserves us. Even when the world is being destroyed, He preserves us, only letting a third of it be destroyed at a time, so that we could still have time to repent. We could still return to Him. I left my life of sin a long time ago, where I was rebelling constantly, seeking after the world, looking for false love amongst people who only know how to have carnal fun and live meaningless existences, and I haven’t looked back. There is nothing fond to look on. There have been some people though, who in their demonic fascination and lust for me, have made it their mission to try and persuade me to their evil, but that has only served to have me hate that evil all the more. Praise God for that provision, that He would bring me to hate evil. Also that even this warning gives chance to some to drop ship, turn themselves in, and be honest with officer Ryan or Grant of the Nicola Valley RCMP. You poor slaves of satan came to the wrong person to help you. All I had to do was nothing, and know you would be ruined by it. All I had to do was keep walking in the righteousness of Christ. You did this to yourselves. God has been keeping me safe from you. That’s why you can’t talk to me.

Lord God in Heaven, thank you for your love and mercy. Thank you that you preserve us in your righteousness, and keep us from evil. Thank you that you still take your time to destroy the world, that you don’t do it all at once, and leave chance for people to repent. Thank you for giving freedom to the lost, and giving us new life in you. Thank you that you are triumphant, band so are all those who walk with you. I love you and trust you for all eternity, and only you, as you have provided me nobody else. Thank you for your love for me, and bless you Lord Jesus Christ three times endlessly three times, amen.
