Just finished The Phantom of the Opera

It had been on my to read list for a while and I really liked it. The story is pretty interesting and engaging. Erik and the Persian were the most interesting characters. The new managers were ok and had some funny moments. Christine was an interesting heroine because she manages to be both a damisel in distress and also the one who saves the day by showing compassion for Erik.

I'm not a fan of Raoul, though. He'd kind of annoying and whiny and constantly antagonizing Christine despite how much he allegedly "loved" her.
