HTML Dark Mode Email
Hey everyone,
I'm an email/content dev and got tired of manually checking for dark mode compatibility issues across different clients (Apple Mail vs Gmail vs Outlook all handle it differently).
So I built a free validator that scans your HTML and flags specific issues with line numbers + suggested fixes.
It catches things like:
- Missing dark mode meta tags
- Light backgrounds that'll break in dark mode
- Gmail clipping risk (>102KB)
- Missing alt text on images
- Base64 embedded images
You just paste your HTML and it tells you what's broken and how to fix it.

Still early/rough around the edges, but it's been helpful for my workflow. Would genuinely appreciate any feedback from folks who build HTML emails regularly - what am I missing? What would make this more useful?
