Starting new PL vs buying an existing one

Hey guys, I was recently offered to buy an existing PL brand with thousands of customers, reviews, and established sales history. I was wondering if this is a good idea instead of starting one yourself and investing money and time into sales/reviews. There is already stable cash flow and there is room for growth.
