Harvest Yard Glitched? (Moonlit Forest)

Hi!

I’ve progressed to the Harvest Yard campsite (shot the vines with a fire arrow to access).

Now, in order to progress, I need to jump across a ravine. There are multiple vine “bases” - I’ve wasted a ton of water and fire arrows on all of the vines, but the only one that will grow and shrink is the vine that leads back to the turtle boss fight.

Is this a glitch? I’ve literally shot everything I can think of with a water arrow (including the two above the campsite, not just the one across) and nothing grows at all

I’m loving the game, but super frustrated as arrows are an annoying resource because of the need for iron for other quests / builds, and I wasted a ton of water arrows on this!
