AITAH for causing my own injury?

I (17M) got an e-bike for Christmas 2025. I wanted to take it for a spin one day after it rained. As I was getting ready, these two girls passed my house. I waved and they smiled at me. After I got ready, I rode out of the driveway and took a lap around the block.

It was too wet to keep going, so I decided I would go to my local nature park. I got on the sidewalk and started to head to the traffic light to cross. I saw the girls again but they were ahead of me. I didn't want them to think I was following them (which I absolutely wasn't). So I waited for them to get ahead even more.

After 5-ish minutes, I went to the traffic light and took the long way just to be safe. I was almost at the park entrance when I saw the again... I went around them on a rocky trail. I planned to go to the other side of the park where there was a highway and next to it, there was a local national airport where I watch planes.

However, there was a group of boys headed my way. Sinse I have social anxiety I told myself "Oh hail no!" So I turned around and got on a sidewalk instead that leads to the entrance (I instantly regretted it). I saw those two girls ahead of me AGAIN. So I got off the trail into the mud to let them pass. As soon as my front tire got back on the concrete, the bike slid and I fell almost face first.

I was in too much shock to call for help. I thought the girls would help, but they somehow didn't hear me fall. Anyway, I scraped my arm pretty badly and now I have two bandaids on the back of my arm close to my elbow. I feel this injury could have been avoided but I don't know.

Did I care too much that I assumed the girls thought I was following them? Could I have done anything differently? AITA for getting myself hurt?
