Torn between what I want

So I'm torn between what I want. I think the mods on the civics and some on the Corollas are cool but you never see them on the SUVs. I like the size of the SUVs, which I currently drive a 2005 jeep liberty limited right now. I'm planning to get something more fuel efficient after I move, but I want to be able to have fun with the car too. my budget for used is around $5k-$6k. I already have the android auto screen, which I'll be taking out of mine most likely because they're older vehicles of course. Any help? I can provide additional info if needed.
