Should I just quit if I’m not going to be good?

Been playing this game like 6 or 7 years and I’m still only play, no mechs learnt, probably only hit the ball about 70% of the time I try to. I’ve tried practicing all sorts of mechanics countless times and just can’t ever get it down. When I play a game I always mess up somehow and get berated by everyone in the game but nobody ever tells me what I’m doing wrong. I really struggle with hitting balls that are coming from behind me the way my car moves just doesn’t seem to make any sense for how I’m moving. I’m about ready to accept that I can’t improve in this game so is there even any point in playing
