Upcoming glucose test

I’ll be taking my glucose test soon and with my past two babies I had gestational diabetes.

My questions:

1.) what’s the likelihood of me developing it again?

2.) did anyone else’s doctor tell them not to fast and to just eat a high protein diet all day the day before?
