This was Baloo minutes after he entered the house & met his new fosters in Burbank. We are now looking for his forever home starting 💝March💝

He’s a 6 yr old goober, previously known as as Hilo from Agoura Hill Shelter & rescued by @goodtailsrescue after David Chokachi & I visited several times to get to know him at the shelter.

🌸Favorite things Baloo likes to do :

Sit by the window and stare out to the yard in the morning

Sunbathe

Zoomies

Lay his head on your chest

🌸Things he progressed with :

Consistently walks well on leash

Not fearing his crate

Being potty trained

Winding down at 7pm and sleeping all thru the night

🌸Things he is work on :

Can be mouthy in a playful way , already is way better with gentle reinforcement.

Has mixed feelings about the water hose

Ran thru the open door quickly to say hi to the dog across the street 🙈But instantly recalled . We don’t want him doing that again, of course.

🌸What he needs for his forever home :

Someone to love him for the rest of his little life

An experienced bully breed or large breed person.

Baloo is dog friendly but perfectly content as the only child as well.

“He spoons too.” Just a little hello from a hippo who is hoping to find his forever family starting March in SoCal.
